Our lines are from Greenfire farm and Carolina Rare Chicks, so they are high-quality birds. We sell them straight run as it is difficult to determine their sex when they hatch.
The English Jubilee Orpington chicken was bred and created to honor the 1897 Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria. One of the most stunning colors of Orpingtons the Jubilee has a Mahogany background with black and emerald spangles and white tips. It generally takes 8-12 months for their color pattern to display. They are gentle giants with superb docile personalities. They lay on average 150-180 light brown eggs per year.
The Jubilee Orpington has been around for many years in England, however, it is a very rare breed in the US first introduced by Greenfire Farms in 2011. You will absolutely fall in love with them!
I also raise Lakenvelders, Golden Laced Orpingtons, Silkies, and French Black Copper Marans.
